Windows Mail to Outlook Converter offers a lot of flexibility for transferring messages and other files to Outlook. First of all, the program supports several file types and, therefore, processing modes: EML to PST, MSG to PST, VCF to PST and DAT to PST. You can also use the software to add any files to the Outlook PST storage as a standalone attachment.

Other processing parameters are defined on a corresponding page shown on the third step of the import wizard. Additional actions performed by the program may include EML preprocessing for files generated in Unix and MacOS, import of MSG files as RFC822 text .eml messages, creation of subfolders and so on. You can manually specify the size threshold that will determine the files to be imported and configure the date and attachment filter to narrow down the set of files that will be imported to Outlook.

Not only will Windows Mail to Outlook Converter convert your emails, but will also turn folders on your hard drive into Outlook folders. The software supports importing to the default Outlook PST profile, an orphaned PST file or a newly created PST file. When you specify the output location for the imported emails, you can either save the conversion results to the default PST profile, an orphaned PST file or a totally new PST file that can be used as a backup storage. To prevent mass-duplication of messages during multiple import sessions, the program creates a new timestamped sub-folder for each session.
